LPG or Liquified Petroleum Gas is a type of gas fuel, a mixture of propane and butane, obtained under pressure. During production, the product cluster changes, due to which it passes from a gaseous state to a liquid one. This helps to reduce the volume of fuel that generally simplifies its transportation and distribution on an industrial scale.
LPG fuel is 30% formed as a result of the processing of petroleum products, 70% — by mining in gas and oil fields. The cost of gas is an order of magnitude lower than gasoline and diesel fuel, so LPG is widely used in the automotive industry. Gas engines are more environmentally friendly and economical. Due to these advantages, LPG is actively used in industry.
